Zingara Yoga meets you where you are. A Yoga Alliance school that celebrates individual differences.

Accessible and All levels  *  Hatha and Flow-based training  *  Highly Experienced Teachers

Zingara brings innovative teaching and experience to you...

Hands On: Ana Pilar and Rachel believe that students learn best from experience.  This is why their training includes so many contact hours.  Learning from a book or video is useful, but nothing compares to looking at all of the different body types in the studio and learning from hands-on practice.

Experience: Ana and Rachel have trained hundreds of students over thousands of hours. Together they've led and participated in over 50 trainings. Ana Pilar has led specialty programs for back pain, bigger bodies, and advanced asanas. Rachel currently conducts yoga-related research at UT Austin where she has also provided yoga to the football program.

Zingara works with your preferences...

Multi-lineage: Ana and Rachel have studied with master's of many lineages including David Swenson, Gary Kraftsow, Seane Corn, David Williams, Donna Farhi, Chase Bossart, Sadie Nardini, Nischala Joy Devi, Rod Striker, Ramaswami, Dr. McCall, Amy Weintraub, and more.  They teach from a multi-lineage perspective and can help to bring the appropriate style of yoga to each student or studio.

Accessible: One of the first questions students ask about signing up for training is: "What if I can't do all the poses?"  The poses are the vehicle, not the destination.  Zingara welcomes students of all body types, ages, and levels of strength/flexibility.

Variety:  Ana and Rachel are experienced at leading both static and dynamic forms of yoga and will incorporate both principles into the 200-hour training.

Zingara works with your schedule...

Flexible: Zingara teacher training covers the 200-hour requirements in a number of different training schedules.  We offer a one-month intensive format, a one week a month for four-five months format, or a weekend format.

Studio Availability: Do you have an empty space at your studio during weekends or slow months? Do you have a need for more teachers in your area?  Zingara can make empty studio space turn into a thriving yoga community with a group of new and passionate teachers.
